Concepts for the animation series "Ana Bolinha"

These are some concept art works for the animation series "Ana Bolinha". The series shows a gang of small insects in their adventures to find round shaped objets, since the main character, Ana Bolinha, is fascinated by them.
So the idea for these concepts was to emphasize the characters small figures and basic shapes (square, circle and triangle), without pulling the focus away from the main characters. The art direction opted to go in a more "realistic" direction for the main series, so these are just some explorations I've made in the pre production stage.
